Creating Revenue-generating event experiences
When I joined Nasdaq eVestment, it’s events strategy was under-developed and we were showing up to major industry conferences with sub-standard event displays. The resulting challenge was we weren’t able to attract enough interest and generate enough leads to maximise return on our investments. In short, the event experience we were creating wasn’t strong enough.
So we changed things up.
We started by investing in bigger, more prominent event spaces, and we designed custom event stands to create truly memorable experiences for visitors. The key brand identifier was being “data-driven’, so we made that the central theme of each event - including presence at the PLSA conference, FundForum, and eVestment’s own annual client conference (350+ attendees).
The results:
